Picture Time!

We wanted to have some pictures to hang on our walls, so we took the kids to FotoFly. The kids loved it! Cali thinks it is really cool to see her picture in our living room. Here are a few of our favorites....

Guess Who Learned To Tie Her Shoes???!!!!

 This week Cali has been working on tying her shoes. She is "Little Miss Independent". She has been so excited about her new found knowledge. I have been too! Her excitement inspired Dylan to learn how to put on his own shoes and velcro them. It is amazing how something as simple as tying shoes can help get us out the door faster. I love Cali and am so proud of her for not giving up. Learning to tie shoes can be VERY frustrating for little hands. Now...if only we could get Dylan excited about the big potty!

 Need we say more? WE ARE ALL IN HEAVEN! We are so happy to have some new additions to our family. We couldn't be happier!



Daddy's favorite time is bedtime. Not beacuse the kids are about to go to sleep, but because we get tickle time, story time, snuggle time, and giggle time. He loves our little monkeys and they LOVE him! I had not doubts he would be awesome!



    

Cali is such a fun little girl. I love doing her hair in the morning. She loves to come up with all kinds of new ways to do it. She wants side pony-tails, curls with headbands, braids, piggy-tails, and sometime her hair dos are new inventions. We love hair time!

We feel so blessed to have our little family together. We are grateful to our family and friends for being so supportive and welcoming. Cali, Dylan, and Hunter are very loved! I know they love so many of you back! Thanks for making this a special time for our family. We promise to keep you updated on our new adventures. We already have a list of funny stories.... It will be fun keeping a journal of the funny things they say and do!

Our Little Family is GROWING!

Some of you already know our exciting news...our little family is GROWING! Rhen and I have been wanting to add to our family for quite some time now. We have been praying that Heavenly Father would send us a little miracle and our prayers have been answered. He didn't just send us one miracle, he sent us THREE! Who would have thought???? We can't find the words to express how excited we are, how humbled we are, and how truly grateful we are for this wonderful miracle that is taking place in our lives. Many of you know that we have been exploring our option to adopt for a few years now. We have been registered with LDS Family Services for a while and recently discovered that the Navajo Nation has an agency that assists in placing Navajo Children. While we were visiting some family in New Mexico, we came across this sign...

We felt this was our answer. We completed our homestudy through the Navajo tribe and began recieving newsletters telling us about children who were looking for a permanent family. We spent several months praying to find the children that were meant to be a part of our family. One day we came across three little children. As we read about them, our hearts were filled with peace and we knew they were meant to be ours.

Many have asked us what their story is. Our answer is simply that these little spirits were born into circumstances that were not in their best interest. Luckily they have had foster parents who have loved them and taken care of them until we were able to find them. We are truly grateful to their foster parents for taking care of these sweet little children for us. We love their foster parents and hope they know what a great blessing we feel they are in our lives.

We got to meet our little cuties a few weeks ago. Our minds have been flooded with cute little smiles and fun little memories ever since. We can't wait until we get to bring them home. For the time being, we get little visits as often as we can.

Zoolights Spectacular!

We have had so much fun with our neices. Adam and Alyssa have moved back. Rhen and I have taken full advantage of that. We have had some fun outings. We just got neice #4 around Thanksgiving time, which has given us a chance to enjoy some of the big things. Our favorite was the Zoo lights. If you haven't been, we highly recommend it. It was awesome!
